Title: Great cultural guide for kids to imagine the concept of visiting another country
Review: I read this book with my friendâs 8-year-old daughter who was drawn to the cultural section, intrigued with the type of food shown in the book that we can sometimes find in our grocery stores, and especially the nursery rhymes she recalls learning in school. The book mentions that the Olympics are being hosted in Paris this summer and her mother and I want her to learn a bit about the Eiffel Tower and typical monuments in Paris before it starts. I liked that the author took the time to research and point out recognizable books and movies like Puss in Boots as the story originated in France. Makes it more interesting for them to connect and consider the concept of visiting another country.

Title: Visual Learning at its Best
Review: The content is what kids 8-12 should know at this level. Even though college is a long way off, the author introduces colleges based in Paris and the neighborhoods where they might see a lot of students and suggests studying French if you want to go to school there one day. Also a brief intro on government. Just enough. Then 14 pages of cultural fun facts.Très bon.

Review: We loved paging through this book! It has a very cool layout that draws you in, and itâs full of fun facts, colourful illustrations, and good tips. Great idea to also include a variety of puzzles at the end for readers to test what theyâve learned or just have a bit of fun. My family is looking forward to seeing more in this series.

Review: My nephew is always asking me about where Iâve travelled and what I saw there, so I decided to research a book series that he could read to learn about it himself. The guidebook shows kids interesting facts about books, movies, art, and even the local sports stars. Then the Summer Olympics workbook gives historical fun facts about the Olympics and dates to follow the torch relay throughout France. Fantastic learning opportunity for kids!
