Ingredients

1
chicken (approx. 1.2 kg)

250 g of noodles

1
large onion, chopped

1
bouquet garni with celery

1
bunch parsley

700 g of vegetables
(carrots, leeks, mushrooms …)

salt
and freshly ground black pepper

 

 

Preparation Chinese chicken noodle soup

Wash
the herbs and chop coarsely. Peel onions and cut into two.

 

Wash
the chicken. Cook everything in 51 of water. Half cover and simmer 1 hour 30
minutes over low heat and season with salt.

 

Remove
chicken, take approx. 500 g
of meat and dice. Wash vegetables, peel and cut into small pieces. Wash parsley
and chop finely.

 

Strain
the broth colander in 2 and take the heat, then pour the noodles and vegetables

 

And
cook about 8 minutes until al dente.

 

Add
chicken to reheat. Salt and pepper and sprinkle with parsley.

4 c Confectioners sugar

1/2 c Evaporated milk

1 c Pecan pieces

Chocolate-Pecan Fudge Preparation

 

Line
square 8x8x2 inch pan with foil; set aside. Im medium micro-proof bowl
microwave butter on HIGH (full power) 1 to 1 1/2 minute or until melted. Add
cocoa; stir until smooth. Stir in confectioners’ sugar and vanilla; blend well
(mixture will be dry and crumbly) Stir in evaporated milk. Microwave on HIGH 1
minute; stir. Microwave and additional minute or until mixture is hot. Beat
with wooden spoon until smooth; add pecan pieces. Pour into prepared pan.
Store, covered, in refrigerator. Makes about 4 dozen squares.

Hard
boil the eggs for 10 minutes, then slightly crack the shells all round but do
not remove the shell. Boil tea leaves in 1/2 litre water for 5 minutes. Immerse
the cracked eggs in the tea for 45 minutes or until cool. When you remove the
shell where the cracks where will be a dark line and make them look as if they
are made of marble.
