Title: LOVE this book!!
Review: I absolutely LOVE this book! It’s so easy to read, the words are not complicated for a 7 and 9 year old to read, and it’s very informative without being boring. The kids enjoyed reading it and pointed out fun things they’d like to do. While it’s written for kids it’s very educational for adults also. The author provides additional resources to help keep the kids learning about Paris and entertained at the same time. Well-written, engaging, is easy to read, and helps kids to learn about other places as well as the French and English name of various locations.I received a copy for an honest review and I can say wholeheartedly I recommend this book.

Title: Great for younger kids
Review: This was a gift for two boys (12 and 10). The first copy that arrived had nearly half its pages cut about halfway down the page. Amazon replaced it quickly. As for the book itself, it’s nice enough. It’s fairly short, which is obvious from the description. The text is pretty easy, so the two boys in question were probably a little advanced for a book at this level (they grow up so fast!). However, they enjoyed reading about Paris and planning for the day that they will get to visit. Getting young minds to stay open, to contemplate travel and the exploration of new lands, new cultures, new foods, new customs: worth the price of pretty much any book!

Title: It’s okay.
Review: Bought as a birthday gift for my niece. It’s easy to read and there are pictures, but, they’re in black and white. Returned it for money back.

Title: Now I want to visit Paris, and I’ll take my family too.
Review: This is the best yet of her series. I’ve got to start saving. LOLNo, seriously, I learned intriguing things I never dreamed of. Did you know it takes six tons of paint for the Eiffel Tower, and they paint it every seven years? That Bonaparte was crowned in the cathedral of Notre Dame? Or that Victor Hugo wrote a scene from Les Miserables in the Luxemborg Gardens? Not to mention that the Paris catacombs extend slightly more than one hundred twenty-four miles under the city, most of it not mapped? (Unfortunately, people get lost in them, so you’re not allowed inside.) But this city has so many places and things and people to experience, far beyond what I’ve touched on.Now I want to visit Paris if I ever get the chance. And I’d take my family too. This is a great series for kids and families. Even though I got a copy in return for an honest review, I’d get it again for my kids.

Title: Fun book for kids (and I learned a lot too)
Review: I’ve read several books in this series and the reason why I love them is because Mills sorts through the multitude of facts and gets down to the ones that are most interesting. I recently spent a week in Paris and I wish I had this with me because I learned all sorts of things I didn’t know from reading boring guide books. I can’t believe I missed the Catacombs! You’ll want to see it for sure after reading this book.Mills speaks directly to kids using language they understand but it is not childlike. It is fast paced and fun.Really, it doesn’t matter if you are planning to go to Paris or not, I think kids will enjoy this book. I highly recommend the book. Well worth the price.

Title: I love this author’s travel series for kids
Review: I love this author’s travel series for kids. Truthfully, Paris has never been on my list as a possible travel destination. I thought it was all Eiffel Towers and what possibly could there be in that city that would interest me. Wow, as an adult have I been wrong! I would love to have this book even as an adult. But, as a kid, I can imagine being the tour guide for my family. She pointed out many points of interest that I didn’t know about. Plus, she sprinkles in little known facts. I’m much wiser about Paris now. And, I’ve added it to a someday destination.*I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an open and honest review of the book.
