Title: Absolutely must have this when visiting Paris
Review: If you don’t get this before you leave for Paris, you can get it at newsstands or bookstores there.Even though it’s in French, it’s easy enough to figure out what they are saying on each page.Loaded with useful info and every last detail of every neighborhood. No other tourist book or map has this much detail.It comes in different sizes and versions, depending on whether you’re a limo driver in Paris, in which case you need the bigger version that takes you out to the distant suburbs, or a tourist, where you need the R21 version. It also comes in different sizes, i.e. smaller pocket version(more convenient to carry) or larger size which is a lot easier on the eyes when trying to figure out where you are.

Title: Best Map of Paris – Don’t Leave Home Without It!
Review: Totally indispensable for any traveller unfamiliar with the Paris area. Having not been to Paris for several decades, this guide made it extremely easy to find every place we needed and quickly find all of the appropriate Metro stations. Very detailed. Although completely in French, this was not a problem. Convenient size – fit into a woman’s pocketbook or jacket pocket. The vendor, Multiple Pages, was very accommodating. We needed this map before the estimated ship date and the vendor made sure that we received the booklet well in time for our trip. Don’t go to Paris without this!

Title: If you speak a little French, this is great for a road trip through France.
Review: This shows you all the road signs and markers as you will actually see them written in French. Even if you don’t know what they mean, if you recognize the words you know you’re on the right road which can alleviate a lot of unnecessary stress! I think you would need a copilot to be able to get the most use from this publication. It’s very well done.

Title: Very thorough and detailed maps of Paris
Review: While very detailed, the print on the map is so small that I can use it. I had to use a magnifying glass to read the street names and that just won’t work for me when I am on the go in the city.

Title: Perfect for a walking tourist!
Review: I studied abroad in Paris and this was the map book that was provided by my progam. It was perfect. Fit in a small purse. Had an easy way of finding roads if you don’t have a GPS or cell phone with international capabilities. I used it so much back then that when we were headed back to Paris, I knew I had to get it again. Mainly because I had gotten such great use out of it for my semester that it was worn out!

Review: Great map guide, this one is mainly used by Parisians to move around their own city, so the wealth of information may be a bit too much for you if you only intend to go for a few days to Paris. As I visit this city frequently and I want to get to know it better, I decided to add to my collection of Paris maps this product, just to learn to navigate the city like a local.The guide is split by zones and eachone has 3 pages dedicated: one for the streets with all the street names (but with a very small font, be warned), another page for all the Buses and another one for the Métro.The page dedicated to the Métro also includes information about all of the following: the location of Monuments, RER, Tramways, Bicycle Lanes, Velib Stations, Parks, Woods, Post Offices, Police Stations, Town Halls, Parkings, Taxi Ranks, One Way Roads, Train Stations, Hospitals, Night Buses.As you see, this may be a bit of overload for a simple trip to the French capital, but if you need this level of information do like the locals do and get it, it is an investment.By the way, until buying this map I was exclusively using the wonderful ‘STREETWISE PARIS’ map because of how practical it is (small sized, foldable, laminated-rain proof!!!, also containing all the street names and it is discreet if you don’t want to look lost or vulnerable in the street). ‘Streetwise’ covers the most central part of Paris and it is enough for most people travelling to the French capital, but it does not show boundaries of Paris such as the Bois de Boulogne to the East, and nothing past the south from Montparnasse outward, and very little of the eastern side, showing only up to Ménimoltant (BUT, it is a large enough area to cover for the occasional trip)….but as I wanted to expand my knowledge on less visited areas of Paris this more exhaustive guide seemed like the right choice.I know I will carry on using my best ever buy, the ‘Streetwise’ map, but this guide complements the other one very well.
