Shrimp pork spring rolls

Ingredients

80 g of cooked rice

1
package of rice paper

250
grams of peeled shrimp

200g minced pork

small piece fresh ginger

salt
and pepper

medium carrot, grated

tbsp black mushrooms

tbsp chopped parsley

tbsp soy sauce

1/4
of a small cabbage

small bowl mix flour and water to paste

tbsp oil

oil
for frying

few parsley leaves

Preparation shrimp pork spring rolls

Soften
the mushrooms in warm water and cut them out.

 

Poach
the cabbage in salted water and drain. Place in a blender rice, cabbage,
shrimp, ground pork, ginger, salt and pepper.

 

Transfer
the mixture into a bowl and add grated carrot, black mushrooms, parsley and soy
sauce. Mix together and make fry 5 minutes. in 2 tbsp oil, stirring constantly.

 

To
moisten the rice leaves and ease of use and cooking, place them between two
clean towels and slightly wet for 2 minutes.

 

Spread
rice paper and place in the lower part equivalent to 2 tbsp stuffing. Fold the
sides and roll up like a cigar. Continue like this until all the stuffing.

Fry
the spring rolls in a frying then drain on paper towels.

Serve
hot spring rolls on a bed of parsley or lettuce.

1/4 c Chopped parsley

ts Chopped fresh rosemary -or-

1/3 c Margarine or butter

1/2 c Milk

Egg; slightly beaten

Herb Scones Preparation

 

Heat
oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. In large bowl, combine flour,
parsley, sugar, thyme, baking powder, rosemary and salt. Using pastry blender
or fork, cut in butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir
in milk and egg just until moistened. On floured surface, gently knead dough 10
times. Place on greased cookie sheet; roll or pat dough into 6-inch circle. Cut
into 8 wedges; separate slightly. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or
until golden brown. Cut into wedges. Serve warm. Makes 8 scones.

warm water with a little sugar. Blend with a whip – starter, sugar, yeast,
salt, oil and da:soda throughly. Place flour in kneading bowl, add liquid
mixture and work together. turn out onto floured surface, ;knead well, until
smooth and elastic.
