Review: I was going to use this cheese as a gift but wanted to taste two of the cheeses to make sure of their quality. Me and my girlfriend chose b o u c h e de chevre and another one. They were not room temperature and we both agreed they were awful. Later I tried it just to make sure and at room temperature it was wonderful and I’m going to order it separately.

Review: The person who received the gift said it tasted absolutely great. With a good variety of flavors at that. He’s kinda like a connesieur (spelling?) of wines, so I trust the review.Now, here’s what I wish I had seen before buying this tray. The stink goes right thru plastic. Yea I’ve heard of stinky cheese before. And certainly 1 or more of these had lots of stink. So I double-wrapped it in grocery bags. My fridge stunk. Badly. So I put the double-wrapped package in a Freezer ziplock. Nope, the fridge just smelling worse. Now the whole thing, in a 2nd ziplock. Dang, there’s no stopping it. Something unique about one of these cheese, its stink goes right thru plastic wrapper like it wasn’t even there.No it’s not just a whine. My wife seriously hated having this stuff in our fridge until we could give it to the intended recipient. Farily new fridge, and now it stinks. She’s gonna try baking powder or something; I’m gonna wipe everything with ammonia. We’ll see. I just wish there had been a warning that plastic bags don’t contain the stink at all. I might have had the package shipped to recipient directly (seeing as it would get eaten quickly instead of getting stored).

Review: Good tasting variety of cheeses. However, some of the cheese begin to go bad pretty quickly after they are removed from their covers. Unless you are willing to finish all the cheeses within 2-3 days, are throwing a party and expect to have them all eaten within a few hours, or have a large enough sized cheese loving family, expect some of them to rot enough that you end up throwing some of it out.The large flat piece you see in the photo sitting on top of all the rest, began to go bad within 2-3 days of it unwrapping. As quickly as I eat my cheese, This piece went back so quickly that I ended up throwing a little more than a 1/3 of it away.
