Title: City map
Review: This was the BEST city map we have ever used (we ordered two). It was so accurate and didn’t distort distances between sites. We only got “lost” once during the week (in a rainstorm) and Google maps couldn’t get us out of it. (We grabbed a cab finally). We personally find it easier to gain the perspective on a map than trying to accomplish on the internet.

Title: Good Map if You Plan to Remain in the Center of Paris
Review: Having been to Paris several times, I’ve always remained in the heart of the city. For that reason, this map is well suited to my needs. I wish it offered a bit of a wider scope, but I can certainly get by with this central city map. I know that most people these days rely on GPS and smart-phone maps. I prefer a good old fashioned printed map like this one, as it never loses its connection to the web or glitches out.As you can see in my video, this map is rubbery and rather waterproof, which is nice, and a manageable size. Nothing is worse than having to pull out a GIANT MAP in the middle of a city. This map is more discrete, and I like that. The map has Metro stops and sites posted clearly on it. It also has a subway map on the back, as well as some highway maps if you rent a car on your trip. There is also some tourist info on the back, though I rely on my guide book (not the map) for that kind of thing. It’s a pretty good map at a good price. Not perfect, but pretty close.

Title: Did the job in Paris
Review: Do yourself a favor when you travel. Buy a REAL paper map and tuck it into your carry-on. Seriously…. GPS will send you to weird places. This map was great because it marks some less-well-known parks to enjoy and how to navigate to the nearest metro and public transportation. We stumbled upon a “mini Versailles” estate close to our B&B just outside of Paris that was a lot prettier, zero tourists, free to visit unless you went inside the mansion, which only cost $8, and actual local French people lounging in the park with their pets and kids (unlike Paris, which was awful).

Title: Great map
Review: This is a great map, with all streets labelled, sights and important places easy to spot and a great legend of the different symbols. One of our hotels is just off the map, as it the bridge with the model Statue of Liberty, but in exchange for that you get a useful, clearly legible map of the city center.

Review: A bit of a disappointment for the price paid. Bought it knowing that it only covers the tiniest part of Paris but it feels cheap. The only advantage was it arrived the next day so no waiting time. If you can, get the one from Collins if you can find it. Those maps are cheaper and superior to this one. I have them for other cities and am very happy with them. Just didnât find Paris when I needed it.
